We're gonna start with a few things you can take out of your bedroom. Most of us are guilty of watching TV in bed but it stimulates your brain. So try thistake it out for a week. If it helps, fine. If it doesn't you can always put it back.

And if you need a little noise to help you sleep you can buy a white noise machine, or even run a ceiling fan to add a little background.
If sound keeps you awake, make sure that nearby rooms don't have noisy electronics that you can hear in your bedroom.
And check that your doors and windows are secure. Drafts or even strong air conditioners can rattle them and keep you up.
Spritzing a little sleep-inducing scent might help you relaxyou never know, a little lavender water on the pillow, forget about the day, right off to sleep.
Color theorists have found that certain colors may have an effect on our emotions. For instance, colors, like red and yellow they're energizing so they might not be the best choice for the bedroom.
But cooler colorslike blues and graysthat might be absolutely perfect.
