Exercises You Can Do in a Hotel Room

When you're on the road it's not always to easy to get your fitness routine in, but here are a few simple exercises that I like to do when I'm staying in a hotel room.

The first exercise is the Tricep Dip.

This exercise works the muscles in the back of your arms

Go ahead and grab a chair with a hard surface, or even use the bathtub if you have to.

Place your hands on the chair with your body weight resting in the palm of your hands.

Take a step forward so that your body weight is now supported in the palm of your hands.

With your elbows tucked in, lower yourself down to the ground and then push yourself back up.

If you're only able to go down half way, that's fine as well. Repeat this exercise anywhere from 12 - 15 times.

The next exercise is the Reverse Lunge.

This exercise works all the muscles of the lower body

That includes your quads, your hamstrings and your glutes.

You'll do this exercise one leg at a time.

Go ahead and take a nice wide step back with your right leg, and then push yourself back up

When you take that wide step make sure that you maintain your balance and keep your knee from going over your toe.

Do this exercise 12-15 times on both legs.

Be sure to talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program and remember no matter how busy you are, you can fit exercise into your daily routine.
