Tips to Save Money And Get Exercise

Getting active is always a good idea, although joining a gym can be a budget buster. But you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a great workout.

Resistance bands can be picked up at a sporting goods store for under 20 bucks! Then head off to the local park to get a cheap workout.

The great thing about resistance bands, you can use it on a tree. First thing to do is a squat transition into shoulders.

The park has more to offer as well. Jungle gyms are perfect for pullups, and boulders serve as great resistance weights for crunches.

You can even use your bottle water for bicep curls—a full bottle can weigh a much as 5 pounds. If you're thirsty, and want a harder workout, down the water and fill it with rice.

The last tip is something we often forget. Walking and running are free. If you live within reasonable distance from work or the store try walking instead of driving. You'll find that the more you walk the larger "reasonable distance" actually becomes.
